German Association for the Hard of Hearing (DSB)
One of the largest self-help organisations for the disabled in the Federal Republic of Germany and also one of the oldest. The first local association was founded in 1901 by Baroness Margarethe von Witzleben in Berlin. As a nationwide self-help organisation, the DSB represents the interests of people with hearing loss and deafness in social, medical, technical and legal matters.

ACIR Working Group Cochlear Implant (Re)Habilitation e.V.
Its members are the therapeutic directors of the leading rehabilitation centres for children, adolescents and adults with cochlear implants in Germany. The working group maintains close co-operation with related sciences in education, medicine, audiology and psychology in order to always be up to date. The regular meetings of the members of the working group also serve the exchange of professional experience as well as the in-depth discussion of current issues relating to post-operative therapy and the social participation, educational and professional integration of patients with CIs.

The counselling centre is responsible for all districts. Early detection of hearing impairment and speech development problems. Early support - medical, social, psychological, pedagogical, speech therapy. Counselling and support for parents for the entire development from the age of 1 to 18. Specialist medical reports and referrals by appointment. Counselling and diagnostics without referral and without health insurance chip card. Not responsible for senior citizens!
