My experience at CIC Berlin-Brandenburg
- The prerequisite is a firm determination to achieve a positive hearing result
- After the Initial customisation of the first processor Daily practice communicating with different voices (male, female, children)
- By using the microphone there are Exercise options with audio books or for making phone calls
- When making new adjustments, it is helpful to provide a detailed description of the problems encountered to the CIC staff
- After the initial fitting of the second processor, practising was much easier and the effect of even hearing on both sides was positive
- The correct categorisation of all environmental sounds now had to be relearned
- The use of the Nucleus Smart APP is positive in the coordination of both processors and brings advantages: e.g. telephoning (would now also use it after the 1st operation)
- Using the microphone when communicating with individuals in an environment with a lot of ambient noise is helpful
- Continuous use of both processors.
As a result, my hearing and communication quality has improved significantly.
