A Cochlear implant (CI) is a hearing prosthesis for people for whom conventional hearing aids do not provide sufficient benefit. It replaces the function of the inner ear and transmits sound impulses directly to the auditory nerve. In CIC Berlin-Brandenburg we accompany children and adults on the way to better hearing - from the initial consultation to medical clarification and surgery, Rehabilitation and lifelong aftercare. Our aim is to enable you to achieve a lasting improvement in your hearing and communication skills and thus improve your quality of life.

State-of-the-art cochlear implant technology for children, adults and seniors

We offer comprehensive care, from the preliminary examination and operation through to the final treatment. Rehabilitation and aftercare. The focus is on adults, senior citizens and children. In addition to medical support, there are services such as music therapy, group therapy and socio-educational counselling.

From the operation to rehabilitation

CONSULTING

We provide you with comprehensive advice on the options, requirements and procedure for CI treatment - individually, sensitively and together with all the specialists involved.

OPERATION

CI implantation is carried out in specialised clinics after a thorough preliminary examination. Rehabilitation begins in our clinic around four weeks after the operation.

REHABILITATION & AFTERCARE

After the implantation, we support you with technical adaptations, promotion of hearing, speech development and communication system or music therapy - for a self-determined, hearing life.
